Relatively new to millinery applications, cotton abaca hemp fabric is very versatile. It drapes, shapes and dyes very well.

This vibrant material is made by weaving the processed stalks of the abaca tree, a special banana palm from the Philippines, through polycotton thread.

Please note — all our abaca fabric is produced in sustainable and Eco-friendly manner. We support small rural community in Philippines who grows abaca plant, extract fibers and weaves this beautiful material for us.

Cotton abaca is cheaper than silk abaca and less dense allowing for easier draping
